Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken a big step to support women in the state. He has decided that 30% of all police recruitments will be reserved for women. This means more women will get the chance to join the police force.

Chief Minister Chouhan believes that if we don’t treat women fairly and give them equal opportunities, our country and state cannot progress. He also praised the women who are already working in the police department and doing a great job.

The announcement was made during an event in Bhopal where they introduced 250 new two-wheelers for women-specific police stations. This move is to make sure women are safe and can actively help in maintaining law and order.

Madhya Pradesh is getting ready for Assembly elections later this year. In the last elections, Congress formed the government, but it didn’t last long. Chief Minister Chouhan came to power in 2020 after some changes in the political situation.

Apart from a short break, Chief Minister Chouhan has been leading Madhya Pradesh since 2004. His decision to reserve 30% of police jobs for women shows his commitment to making our society more inclusive and fair.
