On Monday, the Rashtriya Rojgar Mela was organized at 45 venues across the country. It was a recruitment event where Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over 51,000 appointment letters to the new employees joining various government forces and departments.
The beneficiaries of the Rashtriya Rojgar Mela include employees for the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), SSB (Sashastra Sima Bal), BSF (Border Security Force), Assam Rifles, CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau), ITBP (Indian Tibetan Border Police), and Delhi Police.
PM Modi spoke to the newly appointed employees through video conferencing. He congratulated all the new employees who have become part of the Rashtriya Rojgar Mela and expressed his appreciation for them working during the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” considering it a remarkable moment. He emphasized the importance of the newly joined employees’ work, highlighting their role in curbing violence and insurgency in the country. PM Modi mentioned that by strengthening the country’s forces, they would contribute to fighting terrorism, addressing internal security challenges, border security, extremism, and more. He also discussed India’s potential to become one of the top three economies globally in the coming years, which would attract investments and create numerous job opportunities for the youth.
Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the new appointees, referring to them as the “AMRIT RAKSHAKS” of the change envisioned by PM Modi during the Amrit Kaal for India.
