Delhi Police Start’s Investigation as Suspicious Drone Spotted Hovering Above Prime Minister’s Residence

News from new delhi, a drone was seen flying over the PM’s residence. Seeing this, the SPG deployed under PM’s security immediately went into alert mode. The SPG informed the police at 5.30 am. On the spot, the police force along with the top officer reached the spot. . The police kept trying for a long time regarding this incident, but nothing happened. Investigation is still going on regarding this. Please inform that the area around the Prime Minister’s residence remains a no-flying zone. And this drone was flying in the no flying zone. Let us tell you that the security of the PM is very tight, even his family members go through the security process to meet him.

Where is this bungalow?

The official residence of the Prime Minister of the country is Bungalow No. 7, located on Lok Kalyan Marg, Lutyens Zone, Delhi. Presently Prime Minister Narendra Modi is staying here. Please inform that the official name of Prime Minister’s residence is ‘Panchvati’. It has been made by combining 5 bungalows. This government house is built on 12 acres. It was constructed in the year 1980. The residence consists of 5 bungalows, which include the Prime Minister’s Office-cum-Residence Area and the Security Establishment- one of which houses the Special Protection Group (SPG) and another guest house. Please inform that the first Prime Minister to live in 7 Lok Kalyan Marg (earlier 7 RCR) was Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi came to this bungalow in the year 1984.

Interesting facts about Prime Minister’s residence and protocol

The plan for the bungalow built at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg was made by Robert Tor Russell. Russell was part of the British architect Edwin Lutyens’s team to map New Delhi during the 1920s and 1930s.

7 Lok Kalyan Marg became the Prime Minister’s official residence during the tenure of Prime Minister VP Singh. He had permanently converted this place into the Prime Minister’s residence. Before him, the Prime Minister used to live in the bungalow allotted to him as an MP.

 Interestingly, there is also an underground tunnel about 2 km long that connects the Prime Minister’s residence of India to the Safdarjung Airport. Here a space has been made for WIP helicopters to reduce traffic congestion. It is built behind the Kamal Ataturk Marg, Golf Course and Safdarjung Tomb and then an underground passage leading to the helicopter hangar of the airport. The work on this tunnel was started in 2010 and was completed in July 2014. Moreover, the first Prime Minister to use it is Narendra Modi.

Do you know that the gardens at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg can leave everyone behind. They are very big, clean. These are so big that a horse can run comfortably in it. Gulmohar, Semal and Arjuna trees have been planted in abundance in the campus. These trees are also home to many birds including peacocks. There is only one entrance at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg and this gate is also guarded by the SPG.

Two small rooms have been made at the workplace of 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. There are two personal secretaries in both the rooms. The visitor’s room is on the right. Next to this, there is a room to meet the guests. In addition, there is a room for large meetings, behind it is the dining room, where meetings are held with refreshments and lunch.
